Hello, I am Dr. Martha Williams.
I am a licensed psychologist
who provides psychotherapy to individuals and couples in my private practice.
I am also affiliated with medical practices in East Greenwich, where I work with
individuals who are experiencing health concerns. I have extensive experience
counseling adolescents and adults in a variety of settings, as well as crisis
intervention and management of medical conditions in clinical, and hospital settings.
With nearly 29 years of experience as a therapist, and as a graduate of
Temple University, I practice cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic therapy.
I offer supportive and professional care to help individuals decide what kind of
changes they want to make and the goals they want to achieve.
Over the many years of my practice, I have had experience with almost
all mental health concerns. These include:

I also assist those with medical conditions to manage pain, treatment side-effects, and
lifestyle changes due to these conditions, and I help individuals to communicate with
their doctors and caregivers more effectively.
Appointments: times include day and evening hours, Monday through Friday.
Insurance: I am a provider for Blue Cross/Blue Shield, United Healthcare, United Behavioral Health, Pacificare, as well as any PPO plans.
